18th June 2008
Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Dip
Wind Direction: SW
Wind Stength: 18
Surf / Sea State: small rollers + chop
Air Temperature: 18
Sea Temperature: 14
Weather: hazy sun
Max Speed: 24.1 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 36.6 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Got down about 2 and rigged a 6m. It looked windy and choppy so put a 34cm fin on (smaller than usual)( to try and stop board riding out of the water, and that seemd to work. Sea was smoother than expected and had some great rides. Had watched a youtube video on how to gybe and blow me, I moved my feet as instructed it worked! As the afternoon wore on there were 10 windsurfers and 10 kiters out. Wind was a little up and down, but OK mst of the time. I could really have sailed a 5.2m on smaller board but with wind forecast to drop flattened to 6m and that worked fine. Sea got a little choppy for a while as tide got near its bottom then smoothed off again. Great riding in and out. Fantastic day. On teh water for 2 hours 44mins and I'm knackered.
